<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a content transmission device and a content reception device to perform move transmission of a content more accurately when performing the move transmission of the content using a wired or wireless home LAN. <P>SOLUTION: The content transmission device and content reception device are equipped with content information managing means, and content information is registered. The content transmission device and content reception device confirm whether a content size is registered from the content information managing means before starting the move transmission of the content, and do not perform move processing of the content when not.
