摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel norbornene compound containing a fluorene group and to provide a polymer of the norbornene compound. SOLUTION: The novel norbornene compound having a fluorene group is synthesized by using Diels-Alder reaction. The compound shows a characteristic of high activity ring-opening metathesis polymerization and can produce a norbornene material having a fluorene group which has a narrow molecular weight distribution while the molecular weight is controllable.
