PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem wherein, when two-screen display is carried out in viewing a paid content, image/sound output of the paid content is suspended by the operation of screen changeover, channel changeover, or the like, disabling total viewing. SOLUTION: When a user commands two-screen display by using an operation input means, while viewing a first content received by using a first reception means, a control means determines whether the first content is a paid one, by using a content discrimination means, and sets, in the case of paid content so that the first content is always displayed on the screen, and the sound of the first content is always output from a speaker. In addition, a second content received by using a second reception means is displayed on a sub-screen. Even if an object of operation is moved from a main screen to the sub-screen, the sound of the first content is output from the speaker, and subtitles of the second content are forcedly displayed on the sub-screen.
