PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a molded object which is lightweight and is excellent in formability and safety; and an impact absorber using the molded object. SOLUTION: The molded object comprising foamed resin particles in a base resin made of a flexible resin is suitable for use as an impact absorber in, e.g., a garment, in which the absorber is attached to an adequate position in the front, sides, or back in the waist region or in the hip part.
