<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To use an automatic closing device for a vehicle for both a vehicle in which an opening/closing body such as a sliding door is opened/closed by manual operation and a vehicle which is automatically opened/closed and to improve mountability to a vehicle body. <P>SOLUTION: A closing side cable 25b driven by a drive unit 31 is operatively connected to a connecting cable 52. When the sliding door is automatically closed into a half door position, the connecting cable 52 is operatively connected to a roller assembly 22 by a switching mechanism 61, and the sliding door is pulled by the connecting cable 52 and drawn into a fully closed position. When the sliding door is manually closed into the half door position, the drive unit 31 starts operation when the half door state is detected by a switch set provided at a door locking mechanism, and the sliding door is pulled by the connecting cable 52 and drawn into the fully closed position. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
