PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique for displaying information in such a way as to attract a user's attention in an onboard navigation system. SOLUTION: The onboard navigation system 100 continuously displays first information (for example, a speed meter) to be continuously displayed to the user and additionally displays second information (for example, an icon indicating the remaining quantity of gasoline) to attract the user's attention. Then the onboard navigation system 100 determines prescribed conditions and gradually brings a display location of the second information to a display location of the first information according to the conditions.
