A sunflower type LED solar street lamp is provided to operate the lamp for a long time without a separate AC electric power supply by serially and parallely connecting three LEDs. A sunflower type LED solar street lamp comprises a solar current collector(2), a biaxial rotating portion(4), a chargeable battery(11) and an LED head lamp(6). An optical sensor(3) is adhered to the solar current collector. The optical sensor traces the location of the sun. According to sunlight sensing signals of the optical sensor, the biaxial rotating portion moves the solar current collector perpendicularly to sunlight. The chargeable battery is mounted on the bottom part of a support stand(10) built in the chargeable battery. The power source collected with the solar current collector is charged in the chargeable battery according to an inside input line(13) of a solar street light support stand(9). The power source charged in the chargeable battery is supplied to the LED head lamp according to an inside output line(14) of the solar street light support stand after sunset.
