A road friction coefficient decision equipment is provided that the load friction coefficient is determined as the road limit situation of each wheel is checked. A load friction coefficient decision equipment comprises a sensor unit(10) noticing yaw rate signal, lateral acceleration signal, steering angle signal, each wheel speed signal and vehicle speed signal of the vehicles, and the slip angle signal of the vehicles, a road friction coefficient decision unit(20) having the road limit of the determined vehicles as the basis and estimates the load friction coefficient. The road friction coefficient decision unit uses each signals sensed by the sensor unit and senses the road limit of each wheel especially with the predetermined formula. |
