A dual fault-tolerant chopper circuit for driving magnetic levitation electromagnet is provided to improve reliability of a magnetic levitation system by steadily maintaining levitation state of a magnetic levitated train in malfunction of a discrete chopper. In a first chopper(500), a pair of first power switching elements(S1,S2) control current supplied to an inductor load(700) according to an input PWM(Pulse Width Modulation) signal. A pair of first resistance units(R1,R2) sense malfunction of a pair of the first power switching elements. A pair of first contactless electronic switches(SSR1,SSR2) are turned on/off according to the malfunction of a pair of the first power switching elements. In a second chopper(600), a pair of second power switching elements(S3,S4) complementarily operate with a pair of the first power switching element of the first chopper according to the input PWM signal. A pair of second resistance units(R3,R4) sense the malfunction of a pair of the second power switching elements. A pair of second contactless electronic switches(SSR3,SSR4) are turned on/off according to the malfunction of a pair of the second power switching elements.
