Use of an amino acid composition in the manufacture of a supplementary liquid for promoting a process wherein body fats are converted into energy required for physical exercise during and/or after anoxic or anaerobic motions performed under an extremely high load, wherein said amino acid composition comprises the following amino acids in the molar ratios specified below: not more than 12 moles of alanine, not more than 5 moles of arginine, not more than one mole of aspartic acid, not more than 4 moles of glutamic acid, 7 to 20 moles of leucine, 5 to 11 moles of lysine, not more than 5 moles of methionine, 0.5 to 5 moles of phenylalanine, 4 to 30 moles of proline, not more than 5 moles of serine, 2 to 15 moles of threonine, not more than 5 moles of tryptophan, 1 to 9 moles of tyrosine, 4 to 8 moles of valine, and 0.01 to 20 moles of glutamine. |
