PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging device which can reduce its power consumption, when it is used in a stationary state on a tripod or a certain base. SOLUTION: This is an imaging device incorporating an image stabilizer and has a sensor 108 for detecting its attitude or vibrations, and a controller 101 to cut off the electric current, at least to part of the stabilizer when the sensor detects the stabilized state of the device.
