PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mechanism securing an indirect recognition of the final one residual staple through an observation window, in a conventional stapler which has the observation window formed on a side surface of a staple accommodation frame, when supplementing new staples after using up the charged staples, the final one residual staple can not be observed visually and idling operation is often carried out prior to the supplement of the staples. SOLUTION: In the stapler having an observation window formed, a vertical indication mark 4 is marked on the pusher side surface viewed through the observation window, a 0 mark 5 is marked on the corresponding position of the peripheral portion of the observation window instructed by the vertical indication mark, and a gauge 6 and numerals exhibiting the number of charged staples are marked toward the peripheral portion rear end from the gauge. While using, the value of the gauge on the observation window instructed by the vertical indication mark of the pusher always exhibits the residual number of charged staples, allowing a user to secure recognition of the final one charged staple so as to supplement new staples without idling operation.
