PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adapter for mounting enabling to load a safety switch on a mounting hole for a safety plug, in exchanging a safety plug already set with the safety switch. SOLUTION: The adapter for mounting used for mounting on a mounting hole a safety switch equipped with an insertion hole for an actuator to be inserted into is provided with a first constituent member mounted on the safety switch and equipped with an opening arranged in opposition at the insertion hole to maintain the insertion hole in an open state, and a second constituent member coupled or integrally formed with the first constituent member, inserted into the mounting hole to be fixed.
