PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image display device capable of reducing the puzzlement of a viewer when switching a display image. SOLUTION: In the image display device 1, an image processing section 11 displays single content for first and second viewers in one-screen display on a display section 12 under control of a control section 14. Then, the display section 12 displays the content being displayed in two-screen display, namely a first screen for the first viewer and a second screen for the second viewer, when the first viewer operates a button dedicated for himself or herself, and displays another content on the first screen and content being displayed first on the second screen, when the first viewer further operates the button dedicated for himself or herself.
