PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an input device capable of inputting information that displays the individual state of a plurality of switches arranged in the input device to a device body with a simple circuit configuration, and to provide an input system. SOLUTION: Respective band pass filters fi pass one of a plurality of frequency components which constitute a reference signal included in a signal from a portable equipment side input terminal 11, and transmit the component to the respective switches SW1-SWn. The switches SW1-SWn are constituted of variable resistors or on/off switches. The signals passing the switches SW1-SWn are input to a signal mixer 16. The variable resistors input the signals with signal intensity corresponding to the values of the variable resistors to the signal mixer 16. The on/off switches control the passage/non-passage of the signal. The signal mixer 16 mixes the signals from a switch group 15 with the signals passing an audio band pass filter fab 17, and transmits the signals to a portable equipment side output terminal 12.
