MODIFIED TYPE KALLIKREIN AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING FUNCTIONAL TYPE KALLIKREIN USING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for efficiently mass-producing a functional type kallikrein.

SOLUTION: The method for producing the functional type kallikrein comprising utilizing a modified type kallikrein polypeptide comprising a kallikrein amino acid sequence deficient in an amino acid sequence composed of a control sequence is provided. The functional type kallikrein is secreted into the culture supernatant by culturing a transformant in which an expression vector encoding the modified type kallikrein polypeptide is transferred. The highly active functional type kallikrein without having a risk of contamination with an endoprotease can efficiently be mass-produced by using the method.
