PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide transfer paper, wherein a sheet-shaped base material of a PET (polyethylene terephthalate) stock is used, a transfer layer has high elasticity and flexibility, and also, the protection of a UV offset printing layer becomes perfect, and to provide a method for producing the same. SOLUTION: In the transfer paper, PET is used for a sheet-shaped base material, and the transfer layer is composed of: a mold release layer using transparent silicon as the stock; a primary coating layer using 1 liquid type polyurethane as the stock and applied to the upper face of the mold release layer in accordance with the outline of a design consisting of a prescribed pattern, picture or the like; a secondary coating layer using a 2 liquid type polyurethane as the stock and applied to the upper face of the primary coating layer; a UV offset printing layer applied to the upper face of the secondary coating layer by nozzle-jetting UV offset ink; a protective layer using a 1 liquid type polyurethane as the stock and applied to the upper face of the UV offset printing layer; a first concealed layer using white polyurethane as the stock and applied to the upper face of the protective layer; and an adhesive layer using a 1 liquid type adhesive as the stock and applied to the surface of the first concealed layer.
