PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a management system, a management method, and a control program, capable of coping with a plurality of communication systems by simple configuration even when the plurality of communication systems are mixed. SOLUTION: In the management system in which the plurality of communication systems (an e-mail system based on SMTP/POP and an HTTP system based on HTTP) are mixed, the management device or an image forming apparatus is provided with a first data processing part and a second data processing part as hardware or software, data communication is performed by a communication system suitable for a communication partner while simplifying configuration of the management device and the image forming apparatus by constituting the management system so as to perform conversion between management data for managing the image forming apparatus and common data adapted to the e-mail system and in a form usable in the HTTP system in the first data processing part and to perform exchange between the common data and the communication data adapted to the HTTP system in the second data processing part.
