An apparatus for removing dendrite from an edge part of a plated strip is provided to constantly maintain or improve quality of the strip by preventing the formation of stripe marks and dents on the surface of the strip or shape defects of the strip including waves due to dendrite powder. An apparatus(1) for removing dendrite from an edge part of a plated strip comprises a frame member(10) and an edge dendrite removal unit(30). The frame member is provided to be able to adjust its position correspondingly to the proceeding path of the plated strip(100). The edge dendrite removal unit is mounted on the frame member. The edge dendrite removal unit removes edge dendrite while the edge part of the strip is brought into contact with the edge dendrite removal unit by adjusting the position of the frame member.
