<p>The invention relates to a method for producing impact-modified polyalkylene terephthalate/polycarbonate compositions. Said method comprises the following steps: (i) combining a melt of a glycidyl ester impact modifier with a first portion of polyalkylene terephthalate (component A) in the form of a powder and/or with a first portion of polycarbonate (component B) in the form of a powder, (ii) combining the mixture from (i) with a second portion of polyalkylene terephthalate (component A) and/or with a second portion of polycarbonate (component B) and optionally additional components in the melt, the melt in step (i) having a temperature from 90-175°C.</p> |
