PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a high quality emblem which can be stored by stacking state of an intermediate molding and is free from a scar or a soil such as a deposit of a paint on a design face. SOLUTION: First, an emblem intermediate molding 10 of a cup shape is formed of an emblem body 11 and a peripheral flange part 12 molded integrally with the emblem body 11 surrounding the latter. The emblem body 11 is colored in the state of an emblem intermediate molding 10, then the peripheral flange part 12 is cut off the emblem intermediate molding 10 and thus the colored emblem body 11 is obtained as an emblem final product.
