<p>The invention relates to material pressure shaping, in particular to hydraulic presses, in which the operating force acting on a movable die is formed by the expansion of freezable water confined in a closed volume. The inventive hydraulic press comprises a body, an expansion chamber, a hydraulic cylinder, a piston and a working fluid. The hydraulic cylinder is made directly in the body in such a way that the internal surface thereof is conjugated with the hemispheric surface of the expansion chamber, in which the freezable water is placed, the piston being made in one piece with the die which is located in the cavity of a cover secured to the body and the bottom of the cover and the end face of the die being used as contact surfaces of a mouldable material or of shape-generating elements. The cover is fastened to the body by means, for example of rings and tightening elements.</p> |
