PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a hand and fingers from touching on a male terminal when independently using a main body at a detachable side, and to prevent bending of the male terminal. SOLUTION: In an information terminal 11 provided with a fixed side main body 13 having a female connector 17 and a detachable side main body 14 having a male terminal 24 detachably arranged on the fixed side main body 13 and fitted into the female connector 17, the information terminal 11 has a protection cover 27 movable between a first position covering the male terminal 24 so as not to expose it 24 and a second position for exposing the male terminal 24, a biasing member 28 arranged on the detachable side main body 14 and biasing the protection cover 27 to move to the first position, a regulation section 29 regulating the protection cover 27 from moving from the first position to the second position, and a releasing section 20 releasing the regulation of the regulation section 29 when the detachable side main body 14 is mounted on the fixed side main body 13.
