<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell capable of laminating a sealing material in a short period without damaging sealing performance of the sealing material even in case a plurality of electrolyte membranes and a plurality of separators laminated and arranged at either side of the electrolyte membranes are laminated. <P>SOLUTION: The fuel cell has a membrane electrode assembly 11 having gas diffusion layers 9 at either sides of the electrolyte membrane 7, and separators 15 laminated and arranged at either side of the membrane electrode assembly 11. An adhesion sealing agent 17 for gluing respective fuel cell formation components and having a sealing function is arranged between fuel cell formation components having the membrane electrode assembly 11 and separators 15. A gap S is arranged between outer peripheral ends 11a, 15a of the fuel cell formation components, and a single cell 3 is manufactured by giving a designated load F to each fuel cell formation component laminated between a lower-face plate 39 and an upper-face plate 41 with each fuel cell formation component hooked and supported by inserting the tip of a component hooking pawl 51 retained on a coil spring 47 into the gap S. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
