STORAGE BATTERY POWER SYSTEM

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a storage battery power system capable of easily changing a battery at small residual capacity to a fully-charged battery when a power supply system is driven.

SOLUTION: This storage battery power supply system includes: battery units 6 packaged with nickel metal hydride batteries; a charger 1 for charging the battery units 6; an inverter 2 for converting DC power from the battery units 6 into AC power; a switch 3 for switching between output from a commercial power supply and output from the inverter; a microcomputer 5 for monitoring and controlling charge and discharge; and switches 8 for turning on/off the charging/discharging current of the respective battery units 6. When a plurality of battery units 6 are installed and the battery unit is changed in such a state that one or more battery units are left during discharging of the backup, the microcomputer performs control for turning off the switch 8 connected to the battery unit to be changed.
