PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lever type connector or the like which can maintain a fitting state to the counterpart connector surely while reducing operating force of a lever. SOLUTION: This lever type connector 1 is equipped with an insulation housing 11, a lever 12 which makes the lever type connector 1 be pulled into the counterpart connector 2 by rotation from an attaching start position P1 to the leading completion position P2 where the leading is completed, and a lock part 13 which has a slanting part 131 which is supported in free slanting around the support part 132 that is protruded from the insulation housing 11, a locking part 133 which is installed at the end of the slanting part and locks the counterpart connector, and a pressed part 134 which is installed at the end of the opposite side and makes the slanting part 131 slanted to an avoidance state where the interference of the locking part with the counterpart connector is avoided by being pressed by the lever 12. The pressed part 143 is pushed by the lever 12 at a position W between the attaching starting position and leading completion position, and installed at a position where it is released from the lever which travels over a step of the lever at the leading completion position.
