The measurement device (10) comprises a measurement channel (12) that has a blocking element (18) for backlogging of cheese curd to permit only passage of medium through the through openings. There is a measure dispenser (38, 40) coupled to the blocking element and is operable through the backflow of the mixture of the cheese curd. Free discharge of cheese curd may be achieved via the deflection of the blocking element or a section of the blocking element. The measure dispenser may be operable against a spring force, via which the measure dispenser and/or the blocking element may be held in a base position.
