PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To supply a means in which an abnormality of the swelling of a battery pack can be detected easily. SOLUTION: This label wound battery pack has a label 1 wound around a battery body of a rectangular flat shape. A cut-out groove (in the figure, a cut-out groove of a "#-shape") having a prescribed depth and a prescribed length functioning as a swelling detection means is provided on the label 1. Since a breaking mark 1b of a slit shape is formed along the cut-out groove of the label 1 by stress at the time of swelling caused by the deterioration of the battery body, the deterioration of the battery can be easily determined by visually viewing the generation of the breaking mark 1b of the slit shape.
