Provided is a shade guide (100), in which a plurality of shade tabs of colors different from one another are regularly arranged on the basis of the colors. The arrangements of the shade tabs are decided on the basis of not only the S-values and the V-values, which are decided on what of the regions defined by a plurality of straight lines the coordinates of the color of the shade tabs belong to in the L*-C* plane, but also the H-values, which are decided on what of the regions defined by a plurality of straight lines those coordinates belong to in the a*-b* plane. S-groups (Sa - Sf) of the shade tab group sharing the S-value is arranged. In each of the S-groups, the V-rows of the shade tab group sharing the V-value are arranged. In each of the V-rows, the shade tabs of the different H-values are arranged in the order according to the H-values. The use of this shade guide makes it possible to discriminate the color of a tooth to be evaluated, appropriately and simply.
