PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a light guide wherein the light guide is not damaged when taking out the same from a mold. SOLUTION: When shaping the outer shape of the light guide object by introducing a transparent resin 13 into a mold, protruding portions 13a, 13b protruding outward are integrally formed in parts of the light guide object so as to face each other sandwiching the light guide object, and thus the light guide (a resin molded article 13) is separated from the mold by pushing the protruding portions 13a, 13b with rod-like pushing jigs (pushing pins) 15 and by simultaneously extruding the pushing jigs 15 in a direction spaced apart from the mold 11 in the above condition. Thus, the light guide can be took out from the mold 11 without making flaws in the surface of the light guide with the pushing jigs 15 and without forming strains in the whole light guide.
