The method involves effectively comparing a voltage (Uv) at terminals of a dimmer with a threshold value (Us) adopted dynamically, where the height of the terminals of the dimmer is dependent to a time (t), at which a outage flank (F) is produced. A measuring duration (td) of the voltage point is established at a fixed value, after the outage flank is at the terminal of the dimmer.
