A ball or roller-bearing 12 for use in a cooling pump of a motor vehicle comprises a bottom shell or race 14 and an upper shell or race 16 relative rotatable to the bottom shell 14. According to the invention the bottom shell 14 and the upper shell 16 can be coupled by rotationally fixed means of a coupling component 24. Thus, a ball/roller-bearing assembly 10 including a ball/roller-bearing 12 is provided, whereby in a first position the bottom shell 14 and the upper shell 16 are decoupled, and whereby in a second position the bottom shell 14 and the upper shell 16 are coupled via a coupling component 24. The coupling is preferably either be carried using friction or by using magnets.
