An elemental record is created corresponding to non-received packets within the hint track. The created elemental record is placed sequentially in a memory in the locations where elemental records corresponding to the received packets are placed in memory. Independent claims are included for the following: (1) data structure placing multimedia object; and (2) receiving terminal for multimedia object.
