A manufacturing method of multi gauge strips is provided to reduce the need of forming rolls with high manufacturing costs by easily forming a thick part and a thin part on a strip workpiece, and to obtain high competitiveness in the manufacturing costs and initial investment by increasing workability and productivity using general facilities. In a manufacturing method of a multi gauge strip by forming a thick part and a thin part on a strip workpiece(1) transferring between upper and lower rolls, the manufacturing method of the multi gauge strip is characterized in that: an upper roll(50) having a depressed groove(51) formed thereon and a lower roll(52) parallel to the upper roll are vertically installed in the front side(10); an upper roll(53) having a depressed groove(53') formed thereon and a lower roll(54) parallel to the upper roll are vertically installed in the back side(20); the upper and lower rolls of the front side has an inclination angle relative to a transfer direction of the strip workpiece; the upper and lower rolls(53,54) of the back side have a direction perpendicular to the transfer direction of the strip workpiece; and the upper and lower rolls of the front and back sides press the strip workpiece transferring along guide plates(50,55',55") to form a multi gauge strip(01) having a thick part(2') and a thin part(3') by the upper and lower rolls of the front side and form a multi gauge strip(02) in which the thick and thin parts of the strip workpiece(01) are corrected into a thick part(2") and a thin part(3") by the upper and lower rolls of the back side.
