A well conduit that has an aperture for communicating with a target reservoi r and a one-way valve in the aperture may be used in injection and production wells. Other devices, systems, methods, and associated uses are also included in the present invention. For example, the conduit housing the valves may be used as a base pipe for a sand screen. It is emphasized that this abstract is provided to comply with the rules requiring an abstract, which will allow a searcher or other reader to quickly ascertain the subject matter of the technical disclosure.
