The device has a loudspeaker (23a) operating according to a wireless communication standard such as Bluetooth, and a cellular telephone (10) operating with the standard. An electronic circuit (24) is integrated in a telephone accessory e.g. earphone (20), or in the telephone and designed to allow the accessory or the telephone for emitting an audible alarm, when the telephone and the accessory are situated at a distance from each other, beyond a preset perimeter. An attenuator (26) attenuates the volume of the audible alarm when accessory or telephone is close to an ear of a user.
