A container for hydrogen gas includes tubular members and perforations that communicate with a central passage. A covering film is permeable to hydrogen. The tubular walls comprise a flexible metal, plastic or composite material, and keep the hydride powder from shifting within the container. Hydrogen passes through the film as it is absorbed in the hydride material. Simultaneously, the tube material acts as a flexible support for the film. The tube retains contaminant gases, but allows hydrogen molecules to flow therethrough. |
