A retaining wall block for vegetation and a construction method of a retaining wall using the same are provided to shorten a period of construction and to be installed in a strong structure by having beautiful outward appearance and increasing the number of tree planting portions, and to prevent plants from withering to death in case of the long dry season by forming a reservoir or supplying water artificially to the reservoir using a water tank or a water-supply wagon, etc. A retaining wall block for vegetation comprises a bottom portion(10), a front portion(20) extended upward on the front of the bottom portion, a left wall portion(32) extended upward on the left side of the bottom portion, and a right wall portion(34), wherein a retreated portion(40) is provided to let soil flow in between the left wall portion and the right wall portion, at least two stepped projections(33) are formed on the front portion, and at least one tree planting portion(26) is formed on the stepped projection. |
