A hybrid drug delivery carrier is provided to improve the selectivity about the cancer cell and to maximize the effect of medicine while remarkably reducing the cytotoxin about the normal cell. A hybrid drug delivery carrier is strongly adhered with a cancer cell specific ligand to the surface of the metal double layer hydroxide through a covalent bond. The divalent metal of the metal double layer hydroxide is selected from the group consisting of magnesium (Mg^2+), calcium (Ca^2+), zinc (Zn^2+) and their combination. The trivalent metal comprising a metal double layer hydroxide is selected from a group consisting of aluminium (Al^3+), iron (Fe^3+) and their combination.
