The invention refers to the medical engineering, namely to the dental specialities that can be used for orthodontic treatment, for teeth repositioning with maintenance of the required space for secondary dentition. Summary of the invention consists in that the cap for teeth repositioning with maintenance of space of the absent tooth is made of a transparent sheet of solid thermoplast in the form of ? on the base of an earlier made imprint of the dental arch, the inner surface is made according to the teeth relief of the corresponding arch, at the same time the outer part, namely the masticatory, lingual and labial surfaces of the cap are made according to the form and dimensions of the corresponding teeth. The distance between the teeth adjacent to the absent tooth on the cap is made by 0,5 mm greater than the corresponding distance at the moment of imprint removal and depending on the teeth repositioning direction the thickness of one part - anterior or posterior of the sheet, - constitutes 0,51 mm, and of the other part - 0,76 mm. The method for teeth repositioning with maintenance of space of the absent tooth consists in that it is made the cap, claimed in the first claim according to the imprint of the dental arch, the cap is installed on the corresponding dental arch and it is daily maintained not less than 17 hours, during one month, for displacement of the teeth adjacent to the absent tooth with the dilatation by 0,5 mm of the required space for secondary dentition, than the cap is removed and it is made another cap, with the increase of said distance by 0,5 mm as compared with the anterior one, afterwards depending on the necessity there may be prolonged the treatment up to a displacement of 4 mm.
