A steering apparatus for vehicle is provided to reduce the number of parts, to simplify the structure, and to gain a strong rigidity and harmonious tilting. A steering apparatus for vehicle comprises a column member which is supported pivotally to the column swing point, a fixing bracket(30) which is supported from the top of car body, a first pressurizing mechanism placed between a first holding portion and a movable column member, a second pressurizing mechanism placed between a second holding portion and a movable column member, a first pivot shaft(P1) combined with the bottom of the fixing bracket, a second pivot shaft(P2) combined with the bottom of movable column member, a driving mechanism(50) regulating the interval between the first and second pivot shaft.
