A drawer and drawer slide combination which incorporates a spring clip for providing a quick-release mechanism between the drawer and drawer slide is disclosed. Th e spring clip is secured to an inner slide member of the drawer slide and is formed of a spri ng material and has an inwardly extending latching projection which engages with a vertically extending latching surface provided in a recess at the front side edge of the drawer, said rece ss being provided by securing a drawer front to the front of the drawer in spaced relationship thereto. In order to provide vertical latching between the drawer and drawer slide, apertures are provided in the rear face of drawer front which are engaged by locating tongues projecting from t he front edge of the inner member of the drawer slide. |
