An initialization method of a magnetic encoder is provided to reduce produce time and cost of a motor by not requiring a separate device for measuring a direction a magnetic flux vector. An initialization method of a magnetic encoder comprises the following steps: a step for supplying a current to a coil having one phase among stator coils(101); a step for determining a potential differential value of a rotor measured in IC for detection(107); a step for recording a measured value of the IC for detection if the potential differential value of the rotor is zero(109); and a step for cancelling a current supplied in the coil(110). |
