A method for licit monitoring and device thereof are provided. The method for licit monitoring includes: a monitoring center transmitting a monitoring task to a monitoring network unit to request to monitor a monitored object; the monitoring network unit reporting user interface data of a service session corresponding to the monitored object according to the received monitoring task and set monitoring reporting strategy, the monitored object according with the monitoring reporting strategy.
