<p>An air conditioner and a control method thereof are provided to improve system performance and system responsibility by preventing excessive decrease of a voltage in heating operation by changing conditions for controlling the degree of superheat according to the degrees of suction/discharge superheat. A method for controlling an air conditioner includes the steps of obtaining data on the degrees of suction/discharge superheat(S12), comparing the obtained degrees of suction/discharge superheat with each other(S14), controlling the degree of discharge superheat if the degree of suction superheat is smaller than the same(S16), and controlling the degree of suction superheat in the other case(S18).</p> |
