PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce uneven brightness or an uneven luminescent color caused by uneven dryness without obstructing the formation of a narrow frame of an organic electroluminescent device. SOLUTION: This manufacturing method of the organic electroluminescent device having a substrate 10 and an organic thin film formed on the substrate 10 is provided in such a manner that an organic solvent contained in ink is applied to a groove 72 formed in a drawing stage 70 for placing the substrate 10. The groove 72 is formed in a position which is not overlapped with the substrate 10.
