<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a frame for a robot or the like made of aluminum alloy, which eliminates an adverse effect of a temperature rise generated by driving a motor. <P>SOLUTION: A first frame is provided with a groove along its length direction to an outer surface of a frame body made of aluminum alloy extruded material or the like, in which a heat pipe is provided.
