<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide simple and efficient access protection for a printer control system, in particular, of a paper sheet printer, provided with a printer control station 11. <P>SOLUTION: The printer control station 11 is provided with one interface 12 connectable with one of a plurality of identification mechanisms 13, 14, 15, 16, 17 of a plurality of potential operators, and the printer control station 11 reads out at least one data file from the one identification mechanism 17 of the one actual operator connected to the interface 12, when the one identification mechanism 17 is connected to the interface 12 of the printer control station 11, and permits or blocks an access to various functions of the printer control station 11, in response to one or respective of the read-out data files. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
