<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing method and image processing apparatus capable of acquiring a high-precision and high-resolution image by performing on a still picture and a moving picture, respectively, super-resolution processing for acquiring a high-resolution image from a low-resolution image. <P>SOLUTION: A high-resolution updating amount calculation section 443 determines a gradient based on a differential between a low-resolution estimated image estimated from a high-resolution image and a low-resolution real image given from frame memories 41, 42, thereby calculating an updating amount to be subtracted from the high-resolution image. At such a time, the number of times of operations in the high-resolution updating amount calculation section 443 based on the high-resolution image stored in a frame memory 45 is set in such a way that the number of times of moving picture photographing becomes less than the number of times of still picture photographing. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
