The present invention relates to a light absorbing device (1 ) which comp rises an transparent outer material layer (2), a space (5) through which air is circulated and heated by light radiation passing through the outer the m aterial layer (2), a radiation absorbing material layer (4), and an element (6) which is adapted to divide the space (5) in at least a first subspace (9 ), which comprises a first opening (12), and a second subspace (10), which c omprises a second opening (13). The air is adapted to flow along a path havi ng an extension from the first opening (12) to the second opening (13). The path comprises flow resistance reducing means in at least one portion (9a, b , 10a, b) of the space (5) which is adapted to reduce the flow resistance fo r the gaseous medium when it is guided through said portion (9a, b, 10a, b) of the space (5).
